Today when booting up I realized megasync had not started upon boot. So I tried launching by hand on the terminal I got the following error
Avoiding wayland
QSocketNotifier: Can only be used with threads started with QThread
Error unsetting QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME vble
QSocketNotifier: Can only be used with threads started with QThread
Looking for this error I found a post on Manjaro saying they got it to run in Cinnamon. I tried that but it didn't work for me.

To anyone that might be facing the same problem: A way to avoid this is to use mega-cmd, with it it's possible to sync from the terminal.
Latest (5.2.0-2) megasync update SOLVED the problem.
