Hey, all good!
I'll just have to use the weekly "Mate" build from 2403 with no updates
as I try to learn my way around Artix.
The only Arch based distro that I ever used that was error free was Liya.
Hello Nathan3!
Have you tried to solve this issue in the method described in section 3.2 of the pacman wiki usage page (https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman)?
Also linked in section 3.2 is this helpful blurb (https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman/Package_signing#Upgrade_system_regularly) on performing a system time update.
Please report back and let us know if this is helpful.
Thursday morning: servers might be down since there were multiple errors in retrieving .db files.

Thanks everyone for your attempted help.
I still have gotten nowhere in resolving my update issue.
But I have learned a lot and will continue the effort.
So All Good but I'll be continuing my effort off line
and will not bother you guys too much (I hope)
Enjoy the weekend!
