Title: [SOLVED] Ugrading kernel to 6.8.X breaks nvidia-470xx-dkms
Post by: fire on 19 March 2024, 00:49:24
After upgrading the kernel  dkms gives the error:

==> WARNING: `dkms install --no-depmod nvidia' exited 10

before and after restarting.
The current nvidia packages work fine with 6.7.X kernels so I'm using 6.7.9 for now.

Does anyone have a similar system that is building?

Thanks Artist,

Is this information publicly available so I do not bother anyone next time, I've checked the official documentation (https://docs.nvidia.com/datacenter/tesla/tesla-release-notes-470-223-02/index.html) but the latest kernel mentioned is 6.5.6.
