Title: Install with weekly xfce ISO failed
Post by: FabArd08 on 24 April 2024, 11:11:22
I tried to install artix from a weekly XFCE iso image :

- The online installation didn't launch, so I did an offline installation.
- I chose the btrfs file system.
- The installation went well, but when I restart I get the following message: "erreur : fin prématurée du fichier /@/boot/amd-ucode.img.".

I tried to redo the installation by updating the system first: same problem.
How can I solve this problem so that I can restart normally?

Have you tried an Official ISO images?
Once installed, just reboot > update > reboot.

Does the issue happen with ext4 instead of btrfs?

This issue happen with btrfs.

To try and solve the problem I changed the boot options by pressing space then e during the boot process then I deleted "/@/boot/amd-ucode.img": the computer booted and I got the bash prompt but xfce wouldn't launch. Seeing this, I redid the installation with an official iso image and everything installed fine.
