Title: Thanks for the older LTS Kernel
Post by: TheExplorer on 03 May 2024, 09:21:00
Hello, guys

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for the 5.15 lts kernel (that it's still maintained, unlike Arch).

Just wanted to let you know that someone out there still uses it and really appreciates your efforts and time.

Cheers!

Kernel series 6 sucks and you're welcome.

Kernel series 6 sucks and you're welcome.

6.6.x lts is fine for me on another machine though. But I've already seen a lot of people with issues about 6.8.x.

P.S. Version 5.15.157 is available today. Woohoo!

I would kindly ask the maintainer to upgrade the old LTS to version 5.15.158 since there was a new gcc upgrade and I guess it will cause errors installing my unmaintained nvidia-340 driver from AUR (gcc versions mismatch etc.).

Big thanks in advance!

I would kindly ask the maintainer to upgrade the old LTS to version 5.15.170.

Please, if it won't be not too much of a trouble.

Big thanks in advance!
