Title: Is using a VPN or Tor for posting allowed? [YES]
Post by: MaxLPM on 15 May 2024, 09:47:38
The registration agreement says the following:

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted.
So, is using something like a VPN or Tor for posting allowed for privacy reasons? I know that an IP is considered not identifying, but it can still expose your approximate location and ISP.
Sorry if this has already been asked before, I tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything. If that's the case, please refer me to the post  :)

Well, since I wasn't able to find any other information, I'm going to assume that this is allowed and mark the topic as solved :)

We don't block anything and we don't run 3rd-party trackers anywhere in our infrastructure.
