Title: Network manager connmand-gtk reported failure
Post by: mardiyah on 24 May 2024, 02:57:34
On network or wifi manager connmand-gtk,  there's error sort of:

Failed to toggle connection
GDbus.error: net.connmand.GDbus.NoCarrier

While network carrier source is ready perfectly, normally as bringing this post via Windows
And avahi and broadcomm-wl-dkms is updated

So any idea what actually its fault is or help shed light up to solve it?

I don't use connman, but connman-gtk is abandoned 3 years ago. You can try another front-end https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/ConnMan#Front-ends. I'd try connman from terminal first.

Whatever suits your needs I guess. I personally don't use connman at all.

So beside
Code: [Select]
avahi and broadcomm-wl-
what'd be the main components required to wireless/network, seems likely its configuration already failed before it's read by a network manager as replacing connman-gtk with some counterparts else keeps giving a failure

With total lack of info about your hardware, your typed commands and its output I can only suggest reading https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Network_configuration/Wireless
