Title: Windscribe Requires Systemd
Post by: Rocky_IV on 01 June 2024, 04:00:19
Hello Mates

I do realize that Artix doesn't support Arch Linux AUR.
I'm using Artix dinit-Cinnamon desktop environment.
General Question is?
How do we install AUR packages which specify Systemd in required dependencies?

Thank You

You don't ;^)
While the source for their client is available, (https://github.com/Windscribe/Desktop-App) I doubt there's a vested interest in porting it. My solution for this issue was to generate either a wireguard or OpenVPN config file and connect via the UI your DE provides, or through the CLI if aforementioned UI isn't available (apologies, I don't know much about Cinnamon.)

You already asked this on another thread.
Repeating the question gets you to the golden egg
Code: [Select]
pacman -S windscribe --make-it-work
