I understand.
However, I used yay to install fcitx5-bamboo-git.
Everything went fine, without any intervention from me.

BTW, I want fcitx5-rime instead. Rime is very popular with the users of Chinese. But I'm fine with it being in Arch repo though.

Personally, I was able to arrange to no longer need the Arch repositories.
I used Aur and Chaotic-AUR to install the few "exotic" packages that are not yet available in the Artix repositories.
By the way, fcitx5-rime is also present in GIT version on AUR:
Code: [Select]
yay fcitx5-rime
1 aur/fcitx5-rime-git 5.0.0.r1.gc90df10-2 (+5 0.00)
    RIME input method for fcitx5

Unfortunately, I also need calibre and several python dependencies from Arch repo. I know there is calibre installer, but I want calibre to recognize kvantum theme which is unavailable if installed this way.

I would like to kindly request the addition of fcitx5-bamboo to the official Artix Linux repositories. This input method is essential for Vietnamese language users and would greatly benefit those who rely on fcitx5 for multilingual input. Currently, it is not conveniently available in the repos, which makes installation and maintenance more difficult for end-users. Including fcitx5-bamboo would enhance accessibility and usability for a broader user base. Many other distributions already offer this package, and it would be great to see Artix do the same. Thank you for considering this request and supporting diversity in language tools. ;) (https://teerresulttoday.org/)
