Hi,
After a fresh artix-xfce-runit-20240823 install, /etc/runit/runsvdir/default/current folder is created and contains a symbolic link which points to /etc/runit/runsvdir/current, creating a loop.
I just deleted it and everything is okay.
Also, I noticed that there is a supervise folder in /etc/runit/runsvdir/default/supervise.
I'm not a runit expert so I wonder if it's normal.
Thanks
If I'm not mistaken, runit support is not actively maintained anymore - a while ago runit was dropped in favor of dinit.
Same issue(s) with artix-xfce-runit-20241104
Hope runit images are still maintained, it would be useless to provide them if not
And runit is still used by Void Linux
I use runit, and would like to know where / when unsupporting
runit was discussed and or decided. As others have pointed out there are few changes to the runit code nowadays, but it's simple and still works as intended.
