Music player daemon is in the repo but no client like mpc(cli client), ncmpcpp(ncurses client).

You may install it from Arch for now (while it's absent in Artix): https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/ncmpcpp/

I searched in pamac for "mpd" and found more clients, e.g. qmpdclient.

Sadly, not gmpc, as it's unmaintained.
