Given there may be a problem logging into a DE at some point given the realities of software.
Does/can artix support multiple parallel DE's?
Are there known DE's that work better together, and ones that don't?
Is this a dumb question? Is there a better way to deal with this occasional issue?
Any decent greeter/DM will have you select between DE's; these should not interfere.

The community ISOs contain 2 DEs each and any decent login manager should handle their session files correctly.
