Title: [SOLVED] Network manager completely without data.

Hi all,

the icon of the Network Manager, although present in the application bar, is completely without the related data.

How can I solve?

Are you talking about Network Manager or connman-gtk?

I have had a problem with connman-gtk being blank apart from the 'Settings' button. The applet also shows that it is not connected to the network, however, it is connected.

I found a solution on the Obarun forum that works for me at least:

I just inserted the line

<allow send_interface="net.connman.Manager"/>

 rebooted, and it is back to normal behaviour.

You are perfectly right, I was wrong.

In reality it is Connman who is devoid of content, except for the "settings" button, exactly as you described. I tried the command you suggested, but it gives me error of syntax ...

I would like to post the requested info, but the outputs are very long and I cannot attach them because I can't connect. I have to find a way to do it ...


I Specify that I am using the Mate desktop, with runit.

Hey, just wanted to report the same, connman-gtk, artix-openrc, since an update two days ago.

I was wondering if it could be related to an apparent downgrade of this up to date version to dhcp 4.4.3?

This seems to be a very strange issue, in that the solution I posted above works on this laptop, but when I tried it on a desktop last night, it did not work. And as the thread that I linked to shows, it seems that there is no universal solution as yet.

How can I attach the commands output? They are very long ...
Is it possible in .pdf format?

I'm using Mate desktop with Runit and have no internet connection, I'm writing with mobile.

I figured out how to attach files. Here are the outputs of the required commands.

Thanks in advance for any help you may want to give me, I'm really stuck....

Ps. I think is Connman disappear, not network manager...

Have you updated recently? I did an update today on two desktops, one with the modification and one without, and the problem has disappeared, everything is back to normal.
