I guess that's wrong configuration for omniverse in your pacman.conf. Omniverse has its own mirrors. Check https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/Repositories#Omniverse.

That is where I copied from to place in my pacman.conf and mirrorlist.
# Artix mirrors # Use rankmirrors(1) to get a list of the fastest mirrors for your location, # e.g.: rankmirrors -v -n 5 /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist # Then put the resulting list on top of this file.
# Default mirrors Server = https://mirrors.dotsrc.org/artix-linux/repos/$repo/os/$arch Server = https://mirror.clarkson.edu/artix-linux/repos/$repo/os/$arch Server = http://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/linux/artix-linux/$repo/os/$arch
# Omniverse mirrors Server = https://artix.sakamoto.pl/omniverse/$arch Server = https://eu-mirror.artixlinux.org/omniverse/$arch Server = https://omniverse.artixlinux.org/$arch

Mirrors for omniverse need to be in pacman.conf in omniverse section just like in wiki article. Not in mirrorlist.

I followed the pattern in the config files. I didn't realize this required a unique method. I'll reorganize them and check the difference.
$ sudo pacman -Sy rankmirrors :: Synchronizing package databases... system is up to date world is up to date galaxy is up to date omniverse is up to date error: target not found: rankmirrors
Notice, there are no mirrorlist error messages.

All the cool kids use rate-mirrors 'cos it's rust, rust baby, has extra bloat, and only needs 187 dependencies compiled from Cargo.
https://github.com/westandskif/rate-mirrors/blob/master/Cargo.lock I thought you're memeing, but at the closer look, what the fuck? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdogFKV31fg

If I click it, will it spawn an XSS exploit that lets them pivot to the router and cameras? There was a parody of a Rick Ross song called 'I Eat Snacks.' I could parody that with 'I Click Links'.
It is working. Updates like it should. "In the Omniverse, you keep what you download. It is the Pacman-monger way." Do you think AI can generate an image combining Pacman and a Necromonger? edit: Installed pacman-contrib and ran rankmirrors, then put it at the top of the list. Success. That should clear up some of the speed management issues. SOLVED MethCafe - Coffee is the original energy drink...
