Title: Arch Wiki has a new proof of work verification!
Post by: Phosphate5 on 23 April 2025, 12:50:01
Hello everyone,
Today I tried to access the Arch Wiki using a VPN and then I saw this page. Is it just me or did you encounter this new proof of work verification, too?

All of the things that are happening right now when it comes to security, deployment or copyright/licensing is due to Valve. There's a deal in-place that was announced some time ago. https://lists.archlinux.org/archives/list/[email protected]/thread/RIZSKIBDSLY4S5J2E2STNP5DH4XZGJMR/
