Title: Artix is reaching its eigth birthday
Post by: mrbrklyn on 02 July 2025, 06:59:06
July 17th 2017 is the day Artix was started, as i understand it.

It seems that was a different reality then as we have gone through the worldwide COVID epidemic and several other world altering events both in and out of the tech field.

Happy Birthday, Artix!

You guys have done a wonderful job! Because of your work, at least for now, we still have options to stay away from systemd and wayland.

ps: the subject of the op has a typo. :)

I didn't even know that Artix was so young when I installed it as my potential future main system in February 2020. - What it became: never anything else again! :)

Cheers!
