Title: Connman-gtk and macchanger do not work together ?
Post by: tom-a on 24 July 2025, 20:42:38
 Hello everyone.
I installed connman-gtk, a very handy app except that there is no wi-fi icon when I use wi-fi is otherwise very convenient to manage, after that I installed macchanger. I have the eth0 interface disabled, I generate a new mac address with the command:

Code: [Select]
$ sudo macchanger -r eth0

I enable the Ethernet connection using connman-gtk and see that my virtual address is 10.0.2.16 instead of 10.0.2.15.

When I do the same thing with dhcpcd and macchanger, I don't have such problems as how to get connman-gtk and macchanger to work together?

Perhaps spoof the MAC address before connman launches?
