Title: linux-lts and r8168-lts version mismatch

The linux lts package is:

linux-lts-6.12.42-1

However r8168-lts targets  6.12.44-1-lts, as in:
/usr/lib/modules/6.12.44-1-lts/extramodules/r8168.ko.zst

Module not found, obviously, and thus no network for systems based on that chip.
