I have been playing around with the new Mate ISO which comes with Midori pre-installed. I have discovered that Midori 8.0 won't let you create any bookmarks. It doesn't matter if you use ctrl-d or click on the new bookmark button, all it does is display a notification with the only option to remove bookmark.
