System Monitor question

Just a question about system monitor in KDE. I'm running OpenRC KDE edition and I notice the cache monitor in system monitor is constantly all the way up. also my CPU is sometimes randomly all over the place when the computer is idle. My Arch installation is never like this.  any ideas??.. thanks

Please, use a monitoring tool like htop or top and see which processes cause the spikes.
