Upstream is working on fixing this, but there's a workaround in the meantime. You just need to run a syslogd service (syslog-ng, metalog, etc.) at the same time. It seems like some of the SECCOMP stuff implicitly assumed /dev/log existed when in fact it might not.

Edit: To be clearer, the syslog service needs to be up before dhcpcd. So if you start them up at boot in parallel (like in runit or s6), it probably won't work.

dhcpcd-9.3.1.1 in the gremlins repo should resolve this issue. It'll make its way into stable soon.
