is modesettings KMS enabled?

please read
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/hybrid_graphics
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PRIME

old, but helpful https://www.unixmen.com/using-hybrid-graphic-card-intel-amd-arch-linux/ (no ati driver, use amdgpu)
You have 2 graphics cards, you need special setting. Which GCard run at boot? Intel or ATI? Can you set it? if not probably Intel first...

seems, that picom is your last problem :D :D :D :D

Thank you for the articles! I'm doing it as described  in the unximen article; when only using the Intel card, picom seems to run fine and with the --experimental-backends flag most screentearing is gone too.  I'll use the AMD card when necessary with DRI_PRIME=1. Thanks for your help!
