Migrating vs Fresh Install 26 August 2021, 12:49:23 What exactly are the benefits of a fresh install versus an already existing Arch system migrating to Artix? Uninstalling systemd related packages, refreshing the mirrorlist + pacman.conf, cleaning up the user entries and ofc installing a superior init system isn't really that huge compared to backing up all of your data, following all the steps in the installation guide and finally reconfiguring your OS.Actually I had "Gummiboot" or "systemd-boot" as bootloader before and removing it to replace it with grub was quiet easy. Same goes for systemd-timesync and systemd-homed. I was wondering if systemd is, despite being a horrible mess, no problem when it comes to purging it from your system. So before I dive into too much "unnecessary" trouble, I'd be grateful to read your advice or your personal experiences. Thanks in advance!

If you are a moderately competent linux user, you'll be fine and solve all little problems easily.
