Remember what archive manager you used to create that archive and use the same program. I suggest you to use archive manager or engrampa

Maybe a plugin for your file manager is missing. A good idea would be to check the Optional Dependencies section of the package using pacman -Si program. For instance, pacman -Si xarchiver:

Therefore, if I want ZIP support with xarchiver, I'd want to install unzip and zip.

Xarchiver it's not that good as archive manager (package called file-roller). So i would install file-roller that will do the job

Hi Jason!

Thank you for reaching out in the forums.
I would advise switching to a terminal unzip method, either using tar or unzip
(see linked man pages, or view them in the terminal with 'man <command>')

It can be good practice to be able to drop to a terminal and get work done--you may find you prefer it to working with a graphical  file manager.  You never know when you might need to upgrade, unzip, or modprobe a Nvidia driver from a terminal-only interface.

An archive manager doesnt get installed by default in the xfce install.  File roller works well with xfce thunar.
