Artix fails to boot in Hyper-V

I'm trying to install artix on a hyper-v gen2 VM, but it failed to boot with the "Waiting for 30 seconds for device /dev/disk/by-label" error. (This exact one: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=236567).
From my research, this seem to be because the installation medium was not prepared correctly and thus the rootfs cannot find the device, but I am not installing on a physical machine, and thus most of the solutions I have found don't apply.
Checking the /dev/disk folder reveals nothing that could be the artix iso.
I have tried both the base iso and the non-community GUI isos.
