Barrier config file not saving right

Hey guys - this is like my 3rd post today. It should be my last :) I hope lol

I just re-installed Artix on my side PC because it broke earlier, the config file isn't saving. So my settings have to be punched in at bootup every time, this is annoying. Do any of you use Barrier? I'd love some help on this. What relevant logs can I give you?

OK so here's the fix, it sounds odd but just follow me:

sudo barrier

then write your IP address and change settings, then save, then reboot and the normal barrier running under your user will work with those settings, for some reason sudo makes this thing work to save config files right.
