LACP Bonding 26 January 2022, 04:45:02 Hello, I'm still very much a noob and still learning but can anyone help me get an LACP bond setup for two NICs? I have Artix running on a new server at home and I followed the Wiki for a base install, LTS kernel, RunIt, Connman. I've spent a lot of time searching documentation but found nothing that looked promising. Thank you! 1 Likes
Re: LACP Bonding Reply #1 – 26 January 2022, 09:38:13 Interface bonding is quite an advanced task and uncommon for home setups. Anyway, openrc has a section in /etc/conf.d/net for setting up bonding, but I see you chose runit. You may look into netctl, which can handle bonding too, see /etc/netctl/examples/bonding. I'm pretty sure networkmanager can also tie interfaces together.https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Handbook:X86/Full/Networking#Bondinghttps://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Netctl#Bonding
