LACP Bonding

Hello,

I'm still very much a noob and still learning but can anyone help me get an LACP bond setup for two NICs? I have Artix running on a new server at home and I followed the Wiki for a base install, LTS kernel, RunIt, Connman.

I've spent a lot of time searching documentation but found nothing that looked promising.

Thank you!

Interface bonding is quite an advanced task and uncommon for home setups. Anyway, openrc has a section in /etc/conf.d/net for setting up bonding, but I see you chose runit. You may look into netctl, which can handle bonding too, see /etc/netctl/examples/bonding. I'm pretty sure networkmanager can also tie interfaces together.

Thank you for the response and the links.

Never used OpenRC before so I'm thinking I'll switch this new machine over to get some experience with it. Also bonding looks very straightforward.

Thanks again!
