[SOLVED] Can't install ffmpeg-compat-58

After trying to follow the thread here and trying to install the compat package, i get this error:

Code: [Select]
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: installing x264 (3:0.164.r3081.19856cc-1) breaks dependency 'libx264.so=163-64' required by ffmpeg

Having tried the first two solutions do nothing as i get the same error.
I tried also installing the compat AUR package but that would also give an similar error.
