Evolution with spamassassin = everything is flagged as spam

I migrated over from Manjaro-OpenRC a while ago (fresh installation on a new laptop). After some effort, everything works extremely well on this brand new Dell Precision 7720, the only exception being the Evolution mail client.

Initially, Evolution did not find its Spamassassin plugin, as evolution-spamassassin gets installed in a different directory on Arch and Artix than the Gnome folks expect. That was fixed with a gesettings command.

However, now every incoming email is flagged as spam (unless the sender is in the address book) - that I have not been able to resolve so far. I would love to hear from anybody who has Evolution running successfully with Spamassassin. Additional info gladly provided, if you tell me what you need to know. ;-)

It is a shame that there is so little activity on this forum. I hope this is due to the fact that Artix works perfectly for everybody - and not due to a lack of users. ;-)

Anyway: I was not able to resolve this issue or find any useful information. At the end of the day, I switched to bogofilter, which works as expected.

well, it is a bit of an obsure and non-Atrix specific question having to do with spamd settings that not everyone uses.  And you don't provide a lot of useful information.  I would hit the spamd developers forum
