Artix-light-theme

I hate artix-dark-theme!
I don't see anything in it. Those are my eyes.
For example:
I have tried many times to remove the dark theme in the LXQT edition and adjust the light one. But all attempts led to the collapse of DE.
Please tell me, will artix-light-theme ever be implemented?

Hello,

I had the same problem after each new installation of Artix OpenRC XFCE and this little "cooking recipe" always worked:

thats funny, i have just installed lxqt and was changing it to light yesterday!   All i did was delete single file (not the folder)  in: ///usr/share/gtk-2.0,  then    sudo pacman -S mint-themes  (gives you a load to change in gtk2/3 themes in lxqt app config, i was being lazy rather than downloading individual themes...),  and also download a theme or two to change the openbox settings, 'cause not personally a fan of a coloured top bar!

serious!??!!!????   i guess "Should you encounter this, just rename /usr/share/gtk-2.0/gtkrc to /usr/share/gtk-2.0/gtkrc.bak " is different to "All i did was delete single file (not the folder)  in: ///usr/share/gtk-2.0" then.   lmfao.  Absolutely no file editing required, and its bizarre as it simply doesn't exist in any other rendition of using lxqt or cinnamon, such as with the likes of endeavour or anything debian based.  If anything, i wonder how many have tried artix but simply give up and go elsewhere because they cannot do something as simple as changing to a light theme without getting black writing on black backgrounds when using sub menu's in virtualbox or vlc?  I scratched my head for a good few days because the answer is not obvious in the slightest., and nearly also jumped ship., but didn't possibly unlike the silent few.   Just saying.

Thank you for this link to these explanations which I will use during a future installation of Artix.

I especially noticed this:
"Last, but not least, some applications may partially or completely ignore the user's ~/.gtkrc-2.0 over the global /usr/share/gtk-2.0/gtkrc. The tell-tale of such cases is mixed-colour window widgets (i.e. from both artix-dark and the selected theme). Should you encounter this, just rename /usr/share/gtk-2.0/gtkrc to /usr/share/gtk-2.0/gtkrc.bak and retry. A logout may be necessary."

I hate to quote myself.
"Wer alles kann, macht nichts richtig"

Artix USE="runit openrc slim openbox lxde gtk2 qt4 qt5 qt6 conky
-gtk3 -gtk4 -adwaita{cursors,themes,icons} -gnome3 -kde -plasma -wayland "
