Disk label typo in artix-plasma-openrc-20220123-x86_64 installation.

The existing disk label is 'ARTIX_20220'
Solved by renaming it to 'ARTIX_202201' using mv

I cannot reproduce the issue under QEMU, both booting through UEFI and BIOS mode. Can you post

Edit: Perhaps the most important question: how did you transfer the ISO to the medium? The USB flash installation medium page lists some of the possible and reliable methods to do that. It is likely that the program you used truncated the disk label.

The note on the linked Arch wiki article states:

Note: If the USB drive does not boot properly using the default ISO Image mode, DD Image mode should be used instead. To switch this mode on, select GPT from the Partition scheme drop-down menu. After clicking START you will get the mode selection dialog, select DD Image mode.

You can also try other listed methods.

error /dev/disk/by-label/ARTIX_202201 device did not show up after 30 seconds  mate dinit btw  i got the error with rufus using iso mode using mbr as i am trying to boot the usb in legacy mode on elitedesk g3.  i have no hope with dd mode as that is what mintstick uses anbd my system wouldn't see it in legacy boot mode BUT i will try ventoy now and see how that goes.
