Black screen with underscore after waking up the screen

Hello, so when I lock my laptop the screen goes black as usual, but if I leave it for some time and then press any key to wake up the screen, there's a chance that it'll be just a black screen with non-blinking underscore. Using keyboard works only once: when I switch to the other tty and then go to another tty or try to type my credentials - the system completely hangs, and even magic Sys Rq doesn't work. Also, I'm unable to connect via ssh - internet stops working (the local IP doesn't ping). I've noticed that it'd happen if the light on the power button blinks, the screen wakes up normally if the light wasn't blinking. My DE is Xfce, didn't try on others but I've had similar issue on Void and it was happening on all my DE's as well.
Any ideas?

Since you had a similiar issue with Void, my guess would be buggy firmware.

Is there any way you can access logs? What about dmesg?

All firmware is up-to-date.
Just an update:
Turns out the SysRq wasn't working because it was disabled (/proc/sys/kernel/sysrq was 0), although I'm sure I didn't disable it and it was working.
Also, the blinking light doesn't matter anymore - now, the screen wakes up normally even if the light blinks. However, I figured out the condition that always works - the issue occurs if the charger is unplugged.
I had logging disabled so I'll provide logs when this happens again.

Having up to date firmware does not have anything to do with buggy firmware, I have an Acer laptop with up to date firmware yet I have to perform technical gymnastics just to get the damn thing to boot Linux.

/var/log/kernel.logThen some connmand and bluetoothd logs and then end of the file (did REISUB).

# dmesg -T --level=emerg,alert,crit,err

Not exactly a UEFI or kernel expert, but purely guessing from the errors, I think this is a firmware issue.

IMO they don't care and will probably not pay any attention to your issue in any way.

If Windows works, they call it a day and don't bother with any other complaints.
