Plasma has disabled my 2nd monitor

The newest update has induced weird 2nd monitor behavior.

When logging in, the boot up works on second screen. Once in SDDM, the 2nd monitor goes out.

I had a script to position the 2nd monitor to the right of laptop. When I removed the script the power issue seemed resolve itself (it was turning off too) but then returned.

Xfce had similar issue, but yanking wires and plugging them back in fixed the issue. 2nd monitor works in xfce consistently now.

When logging into Plasma, the user boots up and opens, then the screen actually turns itself off, unplugging and replugging does nothing. If I log back into xfce, everything is fine again.

WTF is going on?  How do I fix this?
