Forum password

Hello,

I am a freshly registered user and i have trouble during the registration because my password who had 26 characters was too long is taht normal ?

What exactly is the problem your facing?

As i try to explain when i registered an error happened for 'authentication failure' when i use a password that long, i sovle the problem by using a shorter passwd.
Sorry if i am not clear english is not where i am the best  :-[

And now, can you change your password to a longer one?

At the time, I wanted to register under jp-willm, but it didn't work.
I tried with tintin and since then it has remained like that.  :)

I cant login to the forum with a 99 character password.

The supplied password is too long.
After changing the password length to 20 characters no errors appear.

Maybe it is a good idea to add validation checks on registration/password change?
