Everything crashes under wayland

Hello there, im running latest kde plasma (and related packages), when I open a plasma wayland session using either sddm or the console it launches, well kinda, as I only get a black desktop and everything I try to start crashes, konsole crashed, discord crashes, widgets too etc... Note that plasma-wayland-session and plasma-wayland-protocols are both installed and that I don't have an NVIDIA card.

Running a nested session with `XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland dbus-run-session startplasma-wayland` gives the same results

Any help available ?

I run:
  • Plasma 5.27
  • Runit
  • seatd (with pam_rundir)
  • Lenovo laptop

Create a test user and see if it works there; yes, it's your settings - no, it's broken and more debugging needed.

I would take OpenBox.
