Which birdsite client?

Hello. Does anyone knows a good twitter client cos from what i've found there's not much to find. I remember couple of days ago tried to install some  app but failed to install certain dependencies so I gave up thinking I'll find something better. Is there any good/ok app/appimage/package that just works?

Thanks and have a nice Sunday everyone! ☮️

Got it. I know nitter it's super cool but like you said it's read only. Weird we don't have a twitter client. I know we have skype (i'm not using it) so i'm puzzled no twitter client around. It's awkward. I'm gonna try reach/suggest Elon thru a tweet maybe he can find some devs to put together and maintain a working open source bird client. Lately twitter improved its free speech policies so I gave it a try. Correct me if I'm wrong about free speech aspect that's my personal perception..

I've read that since Goldfinger Elon overpaid for Twitter they have blocked many third party clients. So I doubt they'll be supportive of what you suggest.

@AndBenn  Aw it's sad hearing this. Could be some work in progress because the bird was flooded by spam bots and my guess is that
the api was abused creating bots. When I've created  my account recently had horror captcha and multiple times challenges at the
  beginning.

@gripped haha why you said Goldfinger cos of his billions?

Think it will take some time till they open their api again. Tnx for the replies.
