Can Developer Create other communication channels?

Hi,
     Can we have communication through matrix or xmpp. IRC is too difficult to register, not alot of people want to use it.
It would be nice to have matrix or xmpp or even bridged rooms
Create problems which don't have solution

No offense, but you're an Arch user and find IRC to be difficult? While I do like the idea of secure channels, there's probably no need for the resource overhead when having technical discussions about Artix or *nix in general. There are lots of clients for IRC and it's a well known protocol and thoroughly documented.
