it gave me an error on the last line that i couldn't write to resolv.conf
Add them to rc.local.
also yeah you have to put static ip in the router for those to work, at least for my openwrt one.

Dhclient eth0 & -added to rc.local.  lovely!

If still considering using a software to manage your connection, connman has options to avoid changing things, but both are active by default. This is my /etc/connmand/main.conf :
