Static in microphone with pulseaudio

I have had this issue before on arch and when I using PulseAudio there is static coming from my microphone input, I have tested another headset and, same issue

I followed this article and it did not fix it  https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PulseAudio/Troubleshooting

The first method did not fix anything and the second would caused PulseAudio to spit out an error when starting.

Not really sure what to try at this point, all help is appreciated!

One of the solutions for most pulseaudio's problems is replacing it (install pipewire-pulse package).
It might not be a 'real' solution to the problem but if the issue had been going for so long and no other solutions work then what are we supposed to do.

I uninstalled PulseAudio and pavucontrol, put "exec pipewire & exec pipewire-pulse & exec pipewire-media-session" into my bash_profile and the issue is still persistent. There is also another issue which could be related where audio from my system is coming into my mic, on my previous install it would only occur with Firefox, I have not tested enough to see if it is only with Firefox currently.

Have you ever had any other distros where your mic would work fine?

Hello,

I have been using alsa only for several years.
I removed all pulse packets except libpulse and libcanberra.

I use alsa and the nice and very practical qastools mixer on different pc:

Note: I don't play games and don't use wine or steam.
But I have sound in all my apps.

Whats doing your microphone input? Built in one into motheboard? You may have a hardware problem somewhere... Try pipewire+microphone+external audio interface to know for sure.
