KDE keeps changin it's application style to gtk every single sign in

I've just installed artix linux and the de keeps setting the application theme back to gtk no matter how many times, i change it. besides that, the brightness of the system get's reset on every single reboot of the system.

I installed artix linux openrc with the gui installer.

This is overkill, I just tested today's community-qt Plasma. All I had to do was:
  • Select 'Breeze' in Global Theme and Application Style
  • Select 'Breeze Light' in Plasma Style and Colors
  • Comment out QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME in /etc/environment
Logout/login and profit.

Thank you for showing us this simplified procedure.

I use XFCE with the Dolphin file manager, maybe that's why I have to go through all these manipulations.
