Re: Folder permissions (chmod) keep resetting on reboot

When using this command, it says that:
Code: [Select]
Partition table scan:
  MBR: not present
  BSD: not present
  APM: not present
  GPT: not present

That's it
backup, reformat all over, then restore

Said
gdisk </dev/...>

Type "?" to get a help
Type "o" to create a new GPT partition table.

gpt needs some dead space on the drive.  Also, AGAIN it is /boot/efi
flatbush:[ruben]:~$ mount|grep efi
efivarfs on /sys/firmware/efi/efivars type efivarfs (rw,nosuid, nodev, noexec, relatime)
/dev/sda3 on /boot/efi type vfat (rw,relatime,fmask=0077,dmask=0077,codepage=437,iocharset=ascii,shortname=mixed,utf8,errors=remount-ro)
