Re: new repo config

I had 7 and booted a different one every day of the week. Then hoobuntu-studio's snapper rejected my policy of links in home so I rejected hoobuntoo-studio. Down to 6. AvLinux fell apart and became unbootable too so I took another look at it and because it's still using systemd it;s also on death-row. Down to 5, looking at PcLinux as a possible replacement for AvLinux. And so on...
It started with an upgrade (including warnings about grub) that ended with an unbootable system, then came kernel 6.7 leading to another fiasco because of my nvidia card. That card has been dumped and I'm now rebuilding everything with a second-hand AMD 590 or something similar that I just bought. In the middle of all this Artix had a web site meltdown ending with repo changes, I just did some of that. Many of my must-have apps are missing with just unusable icons on the panel, examples being qjackctl, qsynth, audacity, yoshimi, guitatrix.... etc. Trying to get them back aboard I get responses like
# pacman -F qjackctl
[no return]
# pacman -S qsynth
error: target not found: qsynth
# pacman -S rosegarden
error: target not found: rosegarden
In /etc/pacman.conf

Tonite was another 2 hours down for maintenance instead of a guitar session for which I'm now too tired!
