"Rpcbind' has download errors, similarly to other issues reported today.

Am a newbie and haven't seen as error quite like this one before. Maybe it will self-correct as the system is moved forward?

The typical printout from running "pacman -Syu" :

Yep, fixed this one with rpcbind-1.2.7-1.2 about an hour and a half ago  ;)

Brilliant - that worked.  Download is caught up and good, now.

Is that an item that the user base could fix ourselves, or does it has to be modified by the developers and placed into the repo's, as you appeared to have done today ?

Us devs broke it and had to fix it. Reporting the issue got it fixed for everyone though, so that's good
