Microphone volume and loopback playback.

Hello, I can't set my mic volume more than 16% because it enables L R Capture in alsamixer. Then, when LR is enabled when I am recording sound from my mic it records my playback sound. When I am maxed out at 16% my mic sounds very quietly. Any ideas how to fix it? Loopback is disabled.

Hello,

I don't know where your problem comes from, but I've had some weird problems that were caused by PulseAudio.
Are you using pulseaudio?

I have been using alsa only for several years.
I removed all pulse packets except libpulse and libcanberra.

I use alsa and the nice and very practical qastools mixer on different pc:

Note: I don't play games and don't use wine or steam.
But I have sound in all my apps.
