google-chrome finally forced ads in

The wonderful ublock extension has finally stopped working in google-chrome thus allowing full enshittification.

I'm forced to see the full horror that google wants to make of the web, ads, ads and more ads on pages that don't even want them, so google just adds ads.

Firefox from now on I guess. Last refuge of the reasonable people.

Is there any solution to this pestilence?

With ungoogled-chromium - omniverse repo - the experience is the same?
I read about uBlock Lite, which is less powerful due to these manifest v3 api restrictions, did you try that?
Pihole can help, but is an extra setup and also not able to replace uBlock completely.
Brave might be an alternative, but I steer clear from it.
For some needs, browsers like falkon, qutebrowser or familiar might help.
