[Solved] s6 and iptables / sysctl 15 August 2020, 22:28:23 Pardon my ignorance, I’m coming from Arch with systemd. I know how to set up iptables on Arch with systemd and make it persistent on startup, but I’m not entirely sure how to do it on Artix with s6. I did install the “iptables-s6” package and have my custom iptables.rules in the “/etc/iptables” directory. Is that all that’s needed for persistent iptables rules to load at startup? Re: s6 and iptables Reply #1 – 15 August 2020, 23:43:43 You must activate it at boot, of course, as with all another unit systems.Follow https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/S6#Basic_usage 1 Likes
Re: s6 and iptables Reply #2 – 15 August 2020, 23:55:38 Ok awesome, I assume I would use “s6-scripts” for my custom sysctl.conf file as well?
Re: s6 and iptables / sysctl Reply #3 – 16 August 2020, 05:27:46 s6-scripts isn't relevant here. Just add iptables to the default bundle. 1 Likes
