[SOLVED] Need help with Xbox One controller

Hello!

I recently installed Artix Linux with OpenBox WM. Everything works fine but Xbox One controller. It is connected via USB cable. It does show up in lsusb and works just fine in jstest. Although games (native, proton, wine) do not detect controller at all. I tried using xpad module - didn't work. Also tried connecting it via receiver using xow. Xpadneo doesn't work too.

Thanks for help!

There's some science involved in making USB devices visible in the guest OS. Some may even never get to work, as I recently found out with a MP3 music player which needed a firmware update (had to find a real windows machine).

Does the controller work if you boot an Artix live ISO? You can install most AUR packages in live environment too, but for your purpose (games) I'd suggest testing the community edition which comes with WINE preinstalled.

So, ummmm... Yeah.

I just downloaded community edition ISO. Flashed it via Etcher. Booted into it. Connman crashed, but that is fine. Then i decided maybe second community ISO will work. So I booted back into my base Artix and controller appeared. Don't know what happened, magic maybe? But now controller works just fine. Probably etcher installed some kind of dependencies packages. I do not know but as for now it works. Maybe that Artix Developer replied and it probably got scared and fixed itself xd

Thanks for good work tho and for the help.
