Linux kernel lts in system testing

On installing this kernel and rebooting networking would not start a downgrade to the system kernel made networking work again.

are you getting any errors on dmesg? your network module is probably not loaded/updated/working
more info is needed - network module, network setup, errors in dmesg, etc
for instance i use r8168 module (package from extra) and on linux-ck i have to rebuild each time the kernel upgrades

r8168: disagrees about version of symbol module_layout  ............ dmesg when network not working

The r8168-lts I was using is in community the r8168-dkms is in arch.
using the dkms driver does indeed work with the new kernel.
Should r8168-dkms be in the repo's ?
