Hi, I would use their OpenVPN client and not the software client they provide.

I believe it may be easier to run, however I have never used that.

There is also a wireguard one.

All of the above are systemd compatible, as checked, so by making a service for their OpenVPN or Wireguard, is the easier thing to do.

openvpn.conf is missing

you have to add one with mullvadVPN's OpenVPN config
