Brasero Not Detecting DvD Drive

Hello, I am trying to use Artix-base-runit for ripping and can't seem to get Brasero to detect my drive. I know it's something that's my fault due to using Artix-xfce-runit live and it showed no problems when ripping my DvDs. As you can guess this would be an annoyance to switch back and forth just to rip something, I have tried this https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/Troubleshooting#My_file_manager_.2F_application_cannot_perform_elevated_privileges_tasks by adding dbus into my my .xinitrc but it doesn't work if it even a potential fix to my problem. I have dbus running with runit and have all packages that are required for Brasero I believe. The only other thing I could think of is a potential permission issue but my user account has access to most roles as seen on wiki [optical,etc...].

There are too many things which could go wrong.
Try to check the Archwiki regarding optical drives:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Optical_disc_drive
- Here the AHCI section caught my eye, otherwise I would say you are missing something

Regarding groups... I am recklessly part of these groups:
Code: [Select]
log network scanner power users docker video storage lp input disk uucp optical audio wheel

This is hat I could think of.

Thank you for taking your time out to help me, but the provided info did not work. But I found another way to rip the DvDs fine using DvDBackup https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Dvdbackup (thanks to your wiki link). I will just make a script to rip and then convert it to a .iso.
